Ramona Crisstea 1I have these great photos, form this magical place called Colibita Lake and I thought to share with you some visualization techniques.

Our mind works using images. When you think about a scenery, you see images not words or phrases. We can surpass some difficulties created by the bad weather, or if a season we donโ€™t enjoy arrived, by visualizing in our mind magical landscapes that bring joy to our hearts. This way everything becomes better, even our mood. Everything surrounding us looks happy and we ignore the bad weather.

Ramona Crisstea 7We must visualize the sceneries with the landscapes that we love, with the season we love to charge up with energy. Our true self is found within.

When things get hard and heavy and nothing goes well just close your eyes, relax, take your time and visualize the perfect place for you. Try to create an image as real and alive as possible. This way you will feel all the vitality, energy and love surrounding you.

  1. Great advice Ramona. It really helps to be able to visualize that place special place. I absolutely love the scenery in your post ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. You look gorgeous and the scenery is breathtaking. The feeling of peace comes through for me. A wonderful spot for a picnic or using a set of travel size watercolors for some paintings. Thank you for sharing!

  3. There’s a book out called “The Happiness Advantage” that discusses how this attitude creates success. An important part of it is “seeing the bigger picture.”

I experienced this once hiking up in Yosemite. After a long trek up to Half Dome, I was taking the Giant Steps two at a time on the way down. My knees were really hot, and I was worried about cooking the ligaments, which leads to joint replacement surgery. It was July, and having been there early in the spring when I was a child, I was disappointed that Nevada Falls was running slowly. I was sitting on the steps and looking at the water plummet into a bowl scoured into the granite, and a man came up and said, “You know, there’s not much water today, but that lets us see a little more, doesn’t it?” I realized that he was right: the colors of the rock, dry and wet, were subtle and enthralling.

Since then, I’ve found that I can be almost anyplace, and if I stop and expect to see beauty, it will present itself to me.

  4. Wow, this place looks amazing! Such a perfect place for walks, breathing fresh air and just gaining back energy ๐Ÿ™‚ I love it and I love your outfit, it’s beautiful and fits the scenery! ๐Ÿ™‚ xo

  5. Hi Ramona! Not only am I in complete awe of your photography, I also can’t help but appreciate the artistry you show with words. It’s so good to see creativity blooming. Keep at it! ๐Ÿ™‚
